On a cold night in December 2025, friends, family, and members of the local community gathered at The Station pub in Kings Heath, Birmingham, for the inaugural Kightley Cup Charity Darts Night in support of the British Heart Foundation.

The event was held in loving memory of Tom Kightley, whose passion for darts fuelled an evening filled with competition, entertainment and fundraising. The Kightley Cup was created by Dan Hoff Rodrigues and the Rival Games to celebrate Tom's life and bring people together through the sport he loved, all whilst raising vital funds for a cause close to many hearts.

Hosted by The Station, the event gave every participant the chance to experience a little bit of professional darts magic. Players were invited to choose their own darts nickname and walk-on music before stepping up to the oche and competing for the chance to become the first-ever winner of the Kightley Cup.

Superspree was happy to support with cardless donation devices, which made it quick and easy for guests to contribute to the fundraising efforts. The convenience of cardless giving had a remarkable impact, helping to double the amount of donations received on the night and significantly boosting the overall fundraising total for the British Heart Foundation.

The evening served as a fitting tribute to Tom Kightley, bringing together those who knew him and celebrating the enthusiasm, friendship, and love of darts that he shared with so many.

With such an incredible response from players and supporters alike, the Kightley Cup has laid the foundations for what promises to become an annual event in Tom's memory.
